The future begins now!

After weeks of anticipation, Prudential California Realty just affiliated with Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate. The news was officially announced this week. We’re now Better Homes & Gardens | Mason-McDuffie Real Estate. With more than 1300 agents in attendance at the San Francisco Hilton, Chairman of the Board Ed Krafchow made it official when he announced that our company was headed in a new direction by partnering with Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate to span over the next 20 years. Why is this the best decision for our company and our agents? The reasons are myriad, but a key theme discussed by Ed was that this alliance will bring our agents new business, new tools, resources and new lead sources.

This is a groundbreaking concept that bridges a lifestyle brand with home-ownership. Better Homes and Gardens president and CEO Sherry Chris, Realogy CEO Richard A. Smith, and Realogy Franchise Group President and CEO Alex Perriello also spoke to agents about the brand and its relevance to today’s consumers. New Co-CEO Frank Richards was introduced to agents, saying that he was honored to join the company, and excited about aligning with a forward looking company.

Co-President Pat Shea and friends

I’m very excited about the change, which I think gives us an opportunity to change the way people think about real estate. We want to be a different kind of real estate company, providing services to people even when they’re not actually buying or selling real estate. If you want to see my website, it’s still www.findmydreamhometoday.com. Although the name has changed, Better Homes & Gardens | Mason-McDuffie Real Estate is still far and away the brokerage of choice in Northern California and we still provide the best online and personal service available in the industry.
